The congregation of St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church welcomes you. We have prepared this profile as an introduction to our parish, which is located in beautiful Milton, Georgia. In February of 2016, our rector of eleven years accepted a call to a parish in Cashiers, North Carolina. In late June, the Vestry, following Diocesan guidelines for calling a new Rector, appointed a nominating committee and installed the Rev. Dr. Col. Patricia Lee Miller as Interim Rector. This profile includes data collected by the committee, including information from parish surveys conducted in 2015 and 2016. The profile was completed in November and was approved by the Vestry and the Bishop of the Diocese of Atlanta. We hope you enjoy getting to know a little bit about us – we look forward to getting to know you.

A Prayer for Our Search
To stress the role of the Holy Spirit in our search process and to acknowledge our strong desire to call the rector God has chosen to lead us, the nominating committee wrote the following prayer. The entire parish is invited to be a part of the search process when we say this prayer in unison at the beginning of each service.
Gracious and loving God, call to serve among us as our next Rector a priest who is a good shepherd, a faithful disciple, and a person of prayer; one who will share in our mission to Know Jesus Christ and Make Him Known. Equip us, along with our new Rector, to be a parish that is joyful in worship, united in Christ’s love and equipped by the Holy Spirit to serve the world to the glory of Your name. Amen.
